Chapel - Blessed are those who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness
A few weeks ago we held our January chapel where we studied the beatitude where Jesus stated that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be blessed. We first met in our family groups where we talked about the things of our lives that can stop us from being filled up with God's love and the things that we can do to invite God to fill us with His love. We then met as a school in a great time of teaching and worship.

Hockey Team wins First Place!
Congratulations to our school's hockey team who won first place yesterday at the annual hockey tournament. By all accounts it was an exciting day that came down to the final 1.8 seconds of overtime in the final game. Great job, everyone!
Medieval Feast
Some were serfs, some lords, some knights, and others royalty. The grade 7/8 enjoyed a 'feast' today where they received a "meal" based on their position in society. I'm sure you can guess that some people were not treated equally. A good lesson on the injustices that can arise in the hierarchies of society.

Student-Teacher Volleyball Game
The Grade 8 students challenged the teachers to a volleyball game on the last day of school before Christmas. We had a great time and both teams played really well.
