Pie in the Face for Great Cause

At the beginning of the year, our Students' Council was challenged to devise ways to help our school to reach out in addition to its mandate to build internal community.  They decided to sponsor a child from Haiti which will dovetail nicely with our JK/SK teacher's (Mrs. Vanderstoep) trip to Haiti over the next year.  To raise the funds, Students' Council held a pie in the face event which saw the top three money-raising teachers get a pie in the face for a great cause.  Even the Students' Council got involved!

Water Fun Afternoon

With the beautiful weather upon us, Students' Council decided to host again host our annual Water Fun Afternoon.  The students had a tonne of fun as they ran obstacle courses, played 'drip, drip, drip' and practiced their target shooting with water guns.  Thanks to Students' Council for another year of excellent community building events.
