1st Chapel of the Year

We had our first chapel of the year on Friday about Jesus' parable about the sower and the seed.  I have no pictures of this, but we also had a fun devotion in the morning that carried forward from last week when I threw a clay pot at the wall.  I hope that this clarifies for any concerned parent why I threw pottery across the gym.

Terry Fox Run (walk!) 2012

Thanks to all the kids for dutifully bringing their twoonies for our annual Terry Fox Run.  We raised around $170 for cancer research!

Students' Council Elections

Everyone campaigned well and had great speeches, but at the end of the day, we could only choose 5 Student's Council reps.  Well done, gang.  I look forward to working with you and engaging your creative ideas!

Our New Band Program

I'm so excited to write that our Grade 7/8 students were able to pick up their instruments for our brand new Band Program today.  Now, be patient with the 'music' coming out of them, mom and dad!

CCS Golf Tournament 2012

Well, it may look a little damp in a few of the pictures, but for the most part we enjoyed a dry day of great golfing fun.  Thanks to everyone who supported this tournament in many different ways.
