Crazy Christmas Costume Day

Our Students' Council had their first Spirit Day yesterday: Crazy Christmas Costume Day.  The students and teachers all did a great job of designing some pretty outlandish costumes.  Way to go, CCS!

Chapel - Blessed are the Meek

We had a good time of praise and worship on Friday during our chapel about the meek being blessed.  Mrs. Parker led us in a reading of a story about how we all have gifts that God has given us.  We also talked in our small groups about why Jesus came as an infant instead of a fully grown human.  Ask your kids about this, see if they remember.

Students' Council Elections

So, the candidates finished their campaigns, made their promises and orated their speeches, now we find out who the Students' Council at CCS is for 2011-2012.  Congratulations Alex, Brooke, Shaelyn, Rachel, Jasmine, and Sean.  Honourable mention to all of those candidates who ran but didn't make it, perhaps next year!
