Soccer Tournament 2013

I know this is a little late, but here are some pictures of the annual Soccer Tournament that we attend.  We had a great time, the weather was beautiful, and we even won a couple of games.  Good stuff, team, we're proud of your positive attitude and sportsmanship!

Grade 1/2 Plants Bulbs

Here are some great pictures of our Grade 1/2 class learning about planting bulbs in God's garden.  It's wonderful to be outside gardening on a school day!

Annual Terry Fox Run

Once again, some pictures of our annual participation in the Terry Fox Run (walk!).  All in all, we raised over $160 for cancer research, and had a great time doing it!

Our New Students' Council

The speeches are done and the masses have spoken.  We had 11 wonderful candidates for our Students' Council this year, but 6 were chosen to represent the student body this year.  We spent a lot of time talking about the importance of Students' Council in building a faith community within our school.  I'm really excited about how this year's group will help us to do that.

Visit from Missionary Ed Skowron

By all accounts it was an awesome presentation when we had Ed Skowron visit us on Monday to tell us about the work that God is doing through him in Panama. 

Back to School!

Alright, we're back! It's been a while since I last wrote to you and we've already done a lot of things as a school. I'm posting a few pictures of our opening assembly, but we've had a golf tournament, back to school bbq and many more things happen on top of that. This year we're studying the Fruit of the Spirit together as a community and we're excited about what God is going to do this year.
