Electives Gala 2012

We held a gala yesterday afternoon to celebrate the activities that we participated in over the last four weeks.  It was great to see the many different learning opportunities the students had.  We showed a variety of videos that I'm posting here for your viewing pleasure.  First are the Stop Motion videos that one group made, and second are picture slideshows from the other electives.  Enjoy!

Girl's Basketball Tournament 2012

The girls attended their annual basketball tournament yesterday and came away with the consolation trophy.  Well done!

Moorefield Optimists Spelling Bee 2012

Congratulations to our participants in the 2012 Moorefield Optimists Spelling Bee.  Congratulations also to Justine who placed 3rd and will be moving on to the next competition.

Assembly - Blessed are the Pure in Heart

Last Friday we had our first assembly of 2012.  Thank you to all the parents who attended for giving our students an opportunity to have an audience.  Thank you to all the students and teachers who praised our Lord beautifully.

Last Electives Session

I can't wait for our Electives Gala on Thursday afternoon where the kids are going to share about what they experienced over the last 4 weeks.  Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers who gave 4 afternoons to help us out.
