So we've decided to start a Students' Council at CCS. The students elected to the Council have been given the mandate of creating school spirit days, designing a school-wide fun day for June, and identifying a cause that they would like to raise funds for. The following students have allowed their names to stand for election: Sean, Rachel, Brooke, Alex, Kelly, Jasmine, Bradey, Kaitlin, Riley, Bailey, Andy, and Shaelyn. The next 2 weeks will be their campaign opportunity and then two weeks from today, we will hold a school-wide election to 6 choose representatives. Good luck, nominees!

Thank you to Drayton Heights who were gracious enough to host us for some volleyball friendlies on Tuesday. We competed in some great matches and it was a great warmup for our tournament next week.

Remembrance Day in Drayton
A beautiful service today as a couple of grade 8 girls and I took part in the parade and the wreath laying ceremony.
Chapel - Blessed are those who Mourn
A fitting chapel today as we spoke about God's comfort. Miss Vandenhazel led, with the grade 3/4's bringing pieces of wood with their fears written on them to the front to deposit in a bag to illustrate the burden of worry in our life if we don't give it to God.
